Big Lonely Doug (2018)

Vancouver Island, British Columbia, was once covered in great cedars, hemlocks, and firs. But after a century of commercial logging, few of the giant, centuries-old trees remain. In 2011, a logger named Dennis Cronin found one of the largest Douglas-firs in the country and saved it from being cut down. The tree became an icon, named Big Lonely Doug.

Lost in the Valley of Death (forthcoming)

In September 2016, Justin Alexander Shetler embarked on a spiritual journey in a remote valley in the Indian Himalayas. He packed little, enlisted the services of a sadhu—a Hindu ascetic—to guide him, and planned on meditating and sleeping out under the stars for weeks. He never returned. This is the true story about the dark and dangerous road to enlightenment.
